Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest online businesses to get started. There isn’t much involved, other than finding a product you want to promote and getting your link. You’ve probably heard you don’t even need a website. You can just link right to the sales page right?

That’s one way you can do it.

Although you can send traffic directly to the sales page it’s not the best way to do it. Studies show it takes people 7 to 9 times seeing a product before they will buy. There will be a few people who will just grab it the first time they see it, and that’s a start right?

It is a start.

Here’s the problem though, the product owner will have an opt in form on his sales page. He knows the importance of building a list. He will get your referral on his list and keep sending more and more information to your referral. He’ll finally get comfortable enough with the product and he will buy it.

But you wont get credit for it. The product owner will get not only his part, but your commission too, because the person bought from their list.

So yes, you can send people straight to the sales page, but you will leave a LOT of money on the table.

This is why YOU need a squeeze page. You want to send people to your opt in page first! Get them on YOUR list. Then send them on to the sales page. If they buy, great. If they dont, thats fine too. Because now YOU can send them information over time, and let them know the benefits of the product over time. You have a much greater likelihood that the people that didnt buy the first time they saw it will buy from you because they will hear from you 7 to 9 more times about the product. They will know your name, you will have built trust between you, and all of these things make it much easier to pull out your credit card and buy.

Here’s the 5 reasons you need a squeeze page, one more time.

1. Capture name and email so you can continue to connect with the person 2. You dont just lose people if they dont buy the first time 3. You get to continue to build a relationship with the person 4. You get to continue to build trust with the person 5. You can even offer OTHER products and services that are related.

I hope this makes it very clear just why you need a squeeze page, no matter what niche you are working in or even how many niches you’re working in.

5 Email List Building Secrets Revealed!

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

1.) Offer freebies.

In selecting which freebies to offer, think of the things which you know visitors would truly like or need. For instance, you can offer an e-book about what to do in the vent of panic attacks or one written about the best home-based businesses one can embark upon. This would provide motivation for them to signup. Once they do, you get to acquire their email addresses which can help you build your list more quickly.

2.) Write articles that are free for publishing.

Allow visitors to publish your articles but by having them to request for permission first. Include a request form that they will be asked to fill in. Make sure that the email address is included in the required fields.

3.) Make your visitors see the benefits of signing up.

The reason behind the fact that many individuals refrain from subscribing to “free” stuff is because they think that these “free” stuff are actually free spam. Hence, if you want them to subscribe, substantiate why your newsletters are not like those of others. You can present some testimonials from earlier members and older issue samples. To make sure that your visitors will even bothering opening your email in the first place, be sure that the subject of your email will trigger the interest of your reader. Furthermore, for your reader to finish reading the entire article and get excited about the next issue, your newsletters must be well-written and must provide fresh, informative content.

4.) Apply the fundamental tactics in search engine optimization

If you want people to get to your articles, you have to make sure that you have included the right keywords within them. This way, the search engine spiders will find them easily when people search for resources about topics relevant to your content. If your articles are easily found, it will be displayed in higher ranks in the list of search engine results. This increases the chances of having visitors check out your site. He more visitors you get, the higher the probability of getting more subscriptions. Also, never ever forget to rename the titles of your web pages. A well-written article about affiliate marketing with excellent content is useless if the search engines will not find it because the web page title is “1000%67.html”. RENAME.

5.) Administer a “membership drive”

Ask your visitors to assist you in getting more people to subscribe. Provide “Invite More Friends” options on your site and prompt visitors to send invite emails to friends and business colleagues. By having your visitors enter the email addresses of the recipients-to-be, you accumulate a lot of names you can use to build your list. To motivate them to invite more people, give away some kind of prize to the one who gets the most number of friends to subscribe.

Google Secret Loophole Review

Friday, May 29th, 2009

Today I would like to review a product called Google Secret Loophole, by Matt Benwell. First and foremost after logging and checking out the members area, there is a ton of content, Matt definitely over delivers. I am going to go through just the first few that I have checked out as I haven’t even began to scratch the surface of this product, Google Secret Loophole.

Market Research Unleashed. We all know how important market research is to find a profitable niche. Well Matt does not hold back. He has a ton of info on finding hungry markets. And not just for a quick hit. We are talking long term traffic and profits. Ive already used some of his tips to start a new campaign in a market I had no idea existed!

Researching keywords is key to success as an affiliate. Matt knows this and gives a wealth of information on this topic. He even tells you how to jump on the back of your competitor and share in their profits. Another great trick, that I just applied the other day, uses Google’s own free keyword tool to pump out keywords that convert!

His landing page formula holds your hand in setting up a web page within minutes that converts very well and gets an amazing Google quality score. I already had two sales within hours after changing my old page! The landing page alone is going to pay for his product in a night.

He has a great section on Google Adwords. I watched his video lesson and made some new ad changes quite easily. The ad currently has a CTR over 15%! I’ve heard of the negative keywords but never really tried it out. My conversion rate has doubled. I am filtering out the buyers from the surfers. It’s really targeted which equals less money spent on useless clicks.

We haven’t even discussed the proprietary software that Matt is giving away. This thing makes the entire process painless and almost automatic. It was amazing to watch in action and I was left speechless. It’s really going to change the way we work as affiliates. Saves you a ton of time setting up campaigns.

I just started to really get deep into Google Secret Loophole but I highly recommend it. Amazingly simple, thorough, and it actually works. It’s all there from videos, documentation, the software, etc. If you purchase any product this year I would say this is the one!
