Earning money, whether part time or full time, from affiliate programs is easy, IF you know what to do. Learn a Quick, Easy and Inexpensive Way For YOU To Painlessly Create Your OWN Moneymaking Internet Business, Even if You Have NO Experience... |
Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest online businesses to get started. There isn’t much involved, other than finding a product you want to promote and getting your link. You’ve probably heard you don’t even need a website. You can just link right to the sales page right?
That’s one way you can do it.
Although you can send traffic directly to the sales page it’s not the best way to do it. Studies show it takes people 7 to 9 times seeing a product before they will buy. There will be a few people who will just grab it the first time they see it, and that’s a start right?
It is a start.
Here’s the problem though, the product owner will have an opt in form on his sales page. He knows the importance of building a list. He will get your referral on his list and keep sending more and more information to your referral. He’ll finally get comfortable enough with the product and he will buy it.
But you wont get credit for it. The product owner will get not only his part, but your commission too, because the person bought from their list.
So yes, you can send people straight to the sales page, but you will leave a LOT of money on the table.
This is why YOU need a squeeze page. You want to send people to your opt in page first! Get them on YOUR list. Then send them on to the sales page. If they buy, great. If they dont, thats fine too. Because now YOU can send them information over time, and let them know the benefits of the product over time. You have a much greater likelihood that the people that didnt buy the first time they saw it will buy from you because they will hear from you 7 to 9 more times about the product. They will know your name, you will have built trust between you, and all of these things make it much easier to pull out your credit card and buy.
Here’s the 5 reasons you need a squeeze page, one more time.
1. Capture name and email so you can continue to connect with the person 2. You dont just lose people if they dont buy the first time 3. You get to continue to build a relationship with the person 4. You get to continue to build trust with the person 5. You can even offer OTHER products and services that are related.
I hope this makes it very clear just why you need a squeeze page, no matter what niche you are working in or even how many niches you’re working in.
